Penny Penguin

Me again....I have been busy in the craft room trying new techniques out!!

this cutie image (Penny Penguin) is one from Sherri Baldy over at Scrapbook Stamp Society...isn't she adorable!

Around her neck I glittered in blue and the dots on her dress and the inside of her hair bow is blue glitter too! On the top of the boy penguin's hat is blue flocking to make it a fuzzy ball! I thought this would make a Great winter/Christmas time Birthday Card! with the sentiment inside "wishing you warm birthday greetings"

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Besties Challenge #2 -Anything Goes (must use Sherri Baldy image)

Designed 2 Delight Progressive

Hello again crafters! Today I have a card done specifically for the Designed 2 Delight Progressive Challenge. I was a part of this awhile back and sadly she had to stop doing it, well recently D2D brought it back, and I am back on board! Head on over to her blog for all the Progressive Challenge details and see how you can get a free image every month!

This month’s image is “Tweet Birthday Gift.”

I colored her with prisma color pencils and die cut her with Spellbinders die, the DP is some that hubby got me for Christmas! and the flower is from a McGill punch I got the other day! The THANK YOU sentiment is a rubber stamp I had, I embossed it with purple Zing! embossing powder!
I went with a Thank you instead of a birthday card on this one!

Hope you like, and thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to check out
this weeks Challenge "Anything but A card" at Created With Love Challenges, Its our

CWLC 23 "Anything But A Card"

Look at me here....I'm late, I totally forgot about getting my personal post done, so my appoligies!

Welcome back to CWLC for a New Year of Fun and exciting Challenges!

This week at Created With Love Challenges we are doing an off the wall theme, "Anything But a Card" and you know how hard that is for someone that only does cards!
We have a great sponsor this week, Cedar Chest Designs! Be sure to check their website out!

Now onto my project:
A Bookmark

Here is a close up...
I colored the Cedar Chest Designs image, and fussy cut it out. then I took a plain white peice of printer paper and created the clouds on it, glued it to some card board, that came in a calendar I got for Christmas (recycling) and trimmed it, then I added the image and sentiment and then laminated it, punched a hole and added gold ribbon with a wire encased green gem that I had from my beads and stick pin making.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment!
