From the Heart Sketch challenge no. 40

Hello everyone!! Today I got in the craft-room and played with a new image

 I bought at From the Heart Stamps called

 Holly Jolly Christmas and can be purchased here

 

How cute huh???

I followed this week sketch at From the Heart

 

Here is what I have done with the cute image and this great sketch:

Colored with Prisma Color pencils and blended with OMS. Cut the image out with Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Oval die. I added stickles to the Christmas Balls and to the star, then added some Glossy Accents to the Birds eyes to make them pop! the DPs are from my Christmas Stash.

The inside, I used 2 different spellbinder dies, and the sentiment is a new 

wooden stamp added to my collection. I stamped it in Red ink from Stampin Up and then colored some green n yellow with my prisma color pencils. The DP is from the same stack as the DPs on the front of the card! Great stack from Recollections.

CWLC 62 Sewing Faux or Real

Good Monday Morning!

Today at Created With Love Challenges we are doing a theme of

 "Sewing Faux or Real"

 we are sponsored by SKdigi's

I chose to work with this cute Moose image called "Merry Christmoose"!

I cut 2 squares one from green and one from blue, and stitched using my We R Memory Keepers "Sew Easy" tool. Sewing Green on the Blue paper and Blue on the Green paper!

I added some Glossy accent to his cute eyes. Colored the image with prisma color pencils and blended with OMS. The ribbon is from Offry and the gem snow flakes are from Michaels Crafts.

The Christmas lights string is from my stash. and then I added a miniature Christmas bulb ornament to the bottom too!

I finished my inside with a spellbinders die and a

 wood mounted stamp sentiment!

CWLC 61 "Any Holiday"

Took at trip to El Paso TX mid Sept, we were gone 11 days, traveled 3518 miles!!!

 Phew what a drive!

I got to meet a wonderful lady Denise from (her BLOG) that I had the pleasure to work with on the Digi Darla Design Team for a year, she lives in El Paso, so with hubby's job in her town I took the opportunity to meet up with her and have dinner and a wonderful evening!

Here is a photo that we took at her house! I hope that I get the chance to get back to El Paso, TX to visit with her again some day!
